This socket features a patented 7/16” External Hex Drive with left-hand tapered internal threads, making it ideal for removing collars from 1/4” diameter threaded pins.

Constructed from durable 17-4 tool steel, the Omega Technologies OMSK3581-8H Collar Removal Socket is heat-treated to ensure maximum wear resistance. The OMSK3581 series incorporates a tapered bore with innovative ”dual lead” left-hand threads that securely grip collars for easy removal by rotating counter-clockwise.
